Mine was not a huge monetary damage. It was just a subscription to "getresponse" which I was duped to subscribe. I understand he is an affiliate of Getresponse, some web hosting sites & a host of other sites & he makes his clients subscribe to them with the promise of setting up things for the clients which would earn money automatically.
Reno Van Boven promised a Bonus of $297 worth for free, but when I went to the site I realised it was an upsell for $297 and it was not free. I then suspected it could be a scam & found some entries on the web about the infamous Reno Van Boven trying to ride on the innocence of his clients.
I have sent an email to Getresponse to refund the $15/month subscription and cancel my account.
I assumed Reno Van Boven to be an authorised person of Warrior Forum as I saw his message coming across the page the moment I signed for the first time into Warrior Forum. I did not realise he could be a scammer. I also wrote to Warrior Forum about him.

I just noticed your post here. We did indeed have an offer available where we would help you set up your email marketing campaign, website and access to our software product as a bonus. This was normally priced at $197. We also offered an additional access to our $297 upsell product as well.
In no way were you "duped" into anything. We simply referred you to our recommended email marketing company where you had the option to sign up for their monthly service.
I am assuming that you went to the sales page for the upsell product which is where we indeed have the price listed of $297.
If you would have contacted us, we would have explained to you where you could find your product access to the upsell product. Or if indeed there was an error and it was not added to your account, we would have been happy to add the bonus access manually to your account for you.
To simply call us a "scam" is not quite fair don't you agree? In fact it is defamatory without having a valid argument.
Our support team is available 6 days a week and usually response to inquiries within 24-48 hours depending on our support demand.
