Pop-up appeared on my son's iphone with a number to call to get virus removed which would cost $80.00. Which I paid by giving my credit card information(dumb) then allowed the technician to get into my home computer to check the network. I allowed it only because they use the same Login Me In Rescue site that AT&T used with me the week before when I was having phone issues. After going through my network, he found a "virus" called Kooboob which he said was threatening my network. Then attempted to offer a virus fix and annual protection plan for $700. When I refused, he got angry and did get out of my computer and "removed" the popup from the phone. But I feel all of my banking, credit and personal information and passwords have now been compromised.
