I wanted to watch a streaming habs game. I ended up receiving a bunch of pop up adds and there was a phone number I could call who said they were from apple support! I talked to the indian guy for 30 min where he took control of my mac and told me what was the problem. Then he told me it was going to cost 299.. I started crying and he told me do you have 99 usd we are going to go for a one time fix. i accepted and filled my credit card info in a 'secured' website they made me go. They took lf the money from my account. During 40 min another indian guy fixed my computer. They called me back and send me an email with the info. Its seemed legit. I canceled my credit card and changed my password to be shure. I dont know if they are going to fraud me .. Im scared I dont know what to do.. Should I get my computer refix by someone else like apple store? I dont know.
