The Immigration Direct website is set up to look like an official Canadian government Immigration website and the fee they charge are made to seems as though I was paying for the application itself. Since this is the first site that appears when doing a web search about applications for PR Card Renewal, I was mislead to believe that they are an official Canada government site.
I paid $49 CAD via my credit card for what I believed to be the official submitting of the Application for my PR Card Renewal, only to find out once my forms were printed, that I even need to request to CIC an order fee receipt which I have to wait 2 weeks (not even suggesting online payment of $50 CAD when that's my sole purpose of searching). I went back to their website and saw a disclaimer at the bottom page which is unreadable by most people as it is not even black and in very small fonts mentioning they are connected to Canadian gov't, can't provide legal advice, etc. If they want it to be read, they should set it up a notice up front before payment/anything else is filled up.
"I WOULD LIKE THEM TO DELETE ALL MY PERSONAL AND CREDIT CARD DETAILS."
