Registered with another phone service yesterday on July 30, 2015 and was told my Safe Link account would cancel immediately after being approved for the new service. My Safe Link phone remained connected today on July 31, 2015 so I disconnected it at 4:51 pm through my online account. I immediately called Safe Link to confirm my account deactivation. I spoke with 3 employees from India and 1 employee from the Philippines. All three Safe Link employees from India verified my account as deactivated. It was also confirmed by the first employee from India that I should no longer be able to make or receive calls. I called Safe Link again at 8:11 pm today on July 31, 2015 to ask why my phone wasn't disconnected and why was there 350 minutes added to my account! I only received 250 minutes free every month and have never received 350 minutes. At 9:45 pm my Safe Link phone still had not deactivated. I was transferred to a call center in the Philippines where my phone Safe Link phone was finally disconnected. I'm the one that offered to give my serial number. You can give a serial number or mobile number. No Safe Link employee asked me for my serial number and the Philippine Safe Link employee told me that S/N is not the serial number and asked me for the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. I asked the Philippine Safe Link employee why is my phone not deactivated when it only takes a second? He finally deactivated my phone at around 10:00 pm. My Safe Link phone is finally deactivated! Why did someone stall this from happening? Has someone cloned my phone and wanted to wait until the new minute restored? I've made serious business call to venture capitalist and no one responded to my call! This isn't normal business behavior! My Safe Link phone is a Life Line free American government phone! I'm using it until I find funding to start my business. I don't want my personal information in the hands of people from other countries! How can I be sure that my private information is totally deleted from databases in India, Philippines or any other country other than the United States of America! How can I confirm that Safe Link will delete all of my private information from its databases! This is a security risk! Why isn't any of these call centers in America!
