I was contacted by Michael Hesse from SMS who stated they were a business consulting firm who would be in the area and would do a free business analysis, I agreed and a few days later was contacted by Harry Nuno, who went through my books and claimed they could improve my business by putting in place systems and creating a marketing program, and presented me a bill for $1300.00, when I said I thought that this consultation was supposed to be free, he stated that only the first consultation by Michael was free, but if I signed on, they would double my business. In desperation, I agreed to move to the next level and was next contacted by Homer Fager, who came into my office and over the next five days gave me what was basically a community college course on small business management, every time I asked about the Systems and marketing plan, he would say that that was coming, until the very end, and it never did, at which point I was asked to write three checks, one for 3500.00 payable immediately, one for 4800.00 post dated for 6/18 and one for 6500.00 dated 6/25, Homer stated that the main office would follow up with the balance of the program, which they never did. about two weeks later I stopped payment on the two post dated checks and expressed my displeasure to Global systems and was told " Too bad " and that they would sue me, I said go ahead and that is where I am presently at, their legal department has contacted me no less than 10 times threatening me and making offers for less money, but I feel totally stupid for believing them and totally scammed by falling for their empty promises.
