Chubby Jew with a Penn State ballcap approached me with the story that he came from a job interview and missed his flight and the airline wouldn't fly him out until the next day. Said he was a chemical engineering student and would pay me back immediately if I would help him w/a $259 room @ the Renaissance Hotel @ LAX. Said he had contacted rabbis in the area but noone would help him. As a father I helped him and now, no response. I feel rather foolish, but will try to track him down in NYC/wherever through my police contacts and confront him. Unbeknownest to him, I had my cell phone recording the conversation, and I took a dated picture of him from behind, so that will help.
