I got a call from a a company called Global Connect Cloud claiming that my computer had been hacked. The guy who called was named Rana, the number he called from is 1-203-318-0712, and his ID number is #9019. He claimed that hackers from China, Japan, Russia, Asia, etc. had hacked it and that they had disabled the license on the computer. They had shown me a list of where the hackers where from. It turns out that these guys were the ones hacking my desktop, and they had acquired access through telling me to press the windows button on my keyboard and the letter 'R'. They proceeded to change the password on my computer and shut it down. They had acquired my banking information and told me, to the penny, how much I had in my bank account and what was on my credit card. Please, when these people call, don't answer the phone. And if you do answer the phone, hang up and don't answer when they call back. Write down the number they call from, and make sure everyone is your house knows not to answer the phone. These people need to stop scamming innocent computer owners.
