My friend and neighbor set up an account with GoFundMe to have some dental work done. I donated $25 and someone else donated $35. My friend saw that that was all the donations that were going to come in so she closed the account. When she went to access her account, the web page wouldn't accept your password. She notified the company and they told her they would send her a password and she never heard back from them after that.
I sent them an email and told them that if they if they didn't resolve this issue that I wanted my money refunded to me. Again, a reply suggesting my friend contact "Support" and, again, my friend contacted them and got no response.
So, today, I sent another email telling them that I was going to report them to the BBB, which I have just learned does nothing but Yelp will, and I will post a warning on Facebook.
Also, I plan to do more investigation on this company.
