Nexway has renewed my subscription with Avast 13 days before it was due. There was no notification that this would be done, I was only first notified by Paypal. They charged me 49.99 yesterday while I should be still covered by last years subscription. There was no reminder or information about the substantial increase in the yearly subsription amount.
On my account it claims there was an "order" made, which gives a very different impression to "automatic renewal".
The only option that Avast gives for filing complaints about this is to send an email online.
