On 02-15-15 I was contacted by phone from a man with an India accent indicating that he was calling from Micro Soft and my computer was hacked and needed to resolve the problem. I put on my computer and he asked my how many other computer I had in the home. I could not see what was wrong and how he would fix it.He took remote control of my computer. I was surprised to see on 02-21-15 that $198.82 was taken from my bank account. This was done without my knowledge. These people need to stop this activity and also be arrested.

  • A caller with an identical approach today (13 March 2015) escalated from a reasonable 'technician' persona to a 'manager' when I refused to download an executable file at http://www.globalconnectcloud.com/gcc/. He soon likewise threatened to withdraw 'my licence' and made noises to this effect. As the computer did not close down, I assume the executable simply gave remote access to interfere with the licence. It is not easy to hang up on these people!
