I received a call today from Mark Gibson and he said he was with the Department of Legal Affairs/Treasury. He wanted to speak to my husband and said we needed to contact our attorney. He would not speak with me, he said he had to speak to my husband only. He was a foreign speaking person and when I called back the number, there was no business identification, just Mark Gibson answering the phone. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said that he was not available and that the only way to speak to him was to have my husband call back and verify his SS number, name and birth date. I just found this site on our computer and noticed quite a few complaints for the same reason. Do I need to contact my local police to report this scam? We do not have any taxes that has not been filed, we file every year. We take care of our responsibilities. I can't believe that this is still happening in our world. Luckily, I was smart enough not to give them any information.
