I have managed to escape being scammed without losing a single cent.

Nonetheless, I still wish to file a complain against this person for attempting to cheat me:

Kay Lee, purportedly a businesswoman based in ShenZhen, repeatedly tried to make me pay for items and services which are of no value to me, which is as good as me giving free money to her.

1. Selling uncompetitive items at high prices
She tried to sell me phone cases and battery covers from suppliers in China. However, the suppliers she provided can be easily found online, and she is just the middle woman. Thus, she effectively jacks up the cost price of the products, which makes them uncompetitive to sell. She also initially recommended more expensive shipping services like DHL, which raise the unit price of cheap phone cases substantially. Moreover, there is already an oversupply of phone cases in my country, thus I have no interest in selling them. I have already said this to her, but she did not seem to listen to me, and tried to recommend me even more cases.

2. Breaks her promise
I dropped her a life line in which she can earn money from me - helping me get a wife from China. She said that she has a neighbour from Sichuan who may be able to help me. So I asked her to talk to the Sichuan woman, and she said she will. One week later, I checked with her, but she told me that she's busy and promised to do so within a week. I checked with her two weeks later, and she took a while to reply. She told me that my expectations were too high and such a woman cannot be easily found. I was puzzled and asked her what exactly she told the Sichuan woman. She gave a long list of attributes, and most of which I did not say its a requirement. So I told her that she is just humoring me without really relaying it to the Sichuan woman - and she admitted so. She did not honour her words!

3. Tempting me to drop free money for her, but not providing anything in return
I did also tell her that I'll pay her for getting a wife for me. She in turn told me that she will charge services fee regardless of whether its a success or failure. WHAT! Given her track record of breaking promises and jacking up prices by being the middlewoman, I do not trust her. What if she does nothing and lied to me that she had tried and failed? Free money for her for lying again?
