We are participating in MEE fair Dubai in March 2015.A person by name Mark called me on my phone with all the correct details of our participation and asked for us to get a hotel room to be booked thru them as the prices have dropped.He seemd to ahve a tie up with some chaps and two diffecrt people spoke to me saying indeed a discount of 20% was available could I pl fill out a form with my credit card with CVV number and mail it back to the. Bells went off in my mind as no one asks for CVV number for reservations and they chased me for 3 days to get the booking.I did send them a form but quickly googlked and found out they were scamsters,so rang up my card company and blocked my card,no sooner didi I do it there was a claim from EHM for 508 USD which was declined by my card company!! be aware of these online scams,never share your CVV number ,book only thru the hotel directly or well reputed sites,or thru the exhibitor site...escaped by a whisker of being scammed!!!
