Complaint 336999 Details

I believe this is telephone fraud. After I listened to "Chester" tell me how I was chosen to receive a $9000.00 United States Federal Grant by virtue of a variety of criteria (some of which I knew was incorrect, but did not let on). He gave me a Grant Money allocation approval number (RD206) and instructed me to call the Verification officer "Jason Wright" at phone number (206) 855-6792 to wrap things up so that I can get my grant money. I did not call the number. I got on my laptop and looked up www.loyaltyfinancialgrants, where I found that there are complaints of this scam dating back at least a year or more. I looked in my call history on my cell phone but they had blocked the number they called me from. They knew my name, address, and phone number when they called me. They told me that I was being awarded $9000.00 in Federal Grants, I am just glad that I had heard of this type of fraud in the news before and happen to know that this is not how things of this nature are handled, thereby I did not fall prey to the nefarious and felonious acts of these criminals. I hope that more people will take precautions as well. I just don't see how it can be going on for so long, with all the technology that our Criminal Justice System has at its disposal.
