So I received a call from a man saying that I have been chosen to receive a $6,700 federal grant and it was a once I'm a lifetime opportunity. All I needed to do is tell them how I'd like to receive my thousands of dollars. So I chose western union in order for me not to give out my bank account information. So the man later gave me a confirmation number to give to W.U. And a man named Peter Marcus and to call Peter at 3152153281. So I called Peter and he later informed Mr that western union would charge me $185 for me to receive the paymemt. Thats when I grew a lot more suspicious and skeptical about the whole thing. So I let him know that I was suspicious and that I thought it was a scam he tried to comfort me about not having to give out my credit card info that I could just go to a convenient store and buy a green dot card and put the $185 in it and to call him back when it's done and to give him the card's info. I told him I would do it in an hour but I didn't of course. I instead did some research on that guy and all I had to do is search the address and it led me to exactly what I needed to know which was a scam and his name is there as well.
