I subscribed to a Facebook work from opportunity because it was advertised as free. Only at the end of the process do you realise that it is not in fact free. I got a notification from my bank that an amount of $79 had been deducted from my credit card and at the same time, the confirmation of my subscription via internet came through and at the bottom it said this a free trial for three days and to check the term and conditions. I did and realised it was a free trial for three days, after which the $79 would be charged per month for six months unless i cancel the subscription within 3 days. Nowhere before this, did it state that this was a 3 day free trial. False advertising in play.

I called and the message said their offices only open at 09h00 US time. It was 10h00 my time so I called back at 09h00 US time and cancelled the subscription. The agent tried to offer me one hundred and one other deals, which I refused and they eventually cancelled the subscription. This money was not processed on my account.

However, on the 4th December, I got a notification from my bank that $79 had been deducted from my credit card from Work From Home. I called them at 09h00 and was advised that it was a computer glitch and that the money would be refunded into my credit card. To date this has not happened. I have called them every week since and I keep getting the same story that they will follow up with thier billing department and I should check my account after three working days. To date nothing.

I have sent them emails and they all bounce back. As of today I tired calling again, but the number gives the recorded message and then disconnects.

The reference numbers of all my calls are below:-
GEM1204
GVV1215
GMA0105
G2RM0109
G2RM0115

I am not going to give up on getting my money back. I am sure this is what they do, give people the run-around until they are fed up and give up.

Where and to which overseeing or governing organisation can I lodge an official complaint to in the US, since I believe this is a US based company.

Thanks for your help.
