I first notified Local Lighthouse on 08/30/2014 via email that because of the ongoing delays and non-responsiveness to concerns, they were not authorized to continue charging my credit card. At that point, I got a phone call in which the promise to address all of our concerns was made. The Local Lighthouse call log indicates “client is happy”, but that was not true at that point in our relationship with Local Lighthouse.

They pulled multiple bait and switch tactics on me.

The website had numerous typos, incorrect information, and other issues. It looked as if they threw the site together no time at all. It took 4-5 times waiting on the phone for an hour or more to get errors fixed properly, over a period of almost 3 months and the site is still not completely acceptable.

Local Lighthouse may have gotten us ranked on the first page of 3 major search engines, but the method of doing so (“Chattanooga” in front of every keyword/phrase) was deceptive. I did not terminate service with Local Lighthouse before 90 days because they told me it would take 90 days to see results and I didn’t realize until Month 3 that Local Lighthouse had changed the keywords/phrases we originally provided. I did not get ONE single sales lead from Local Lighthouse’s site. I have tried to cancel my service with them for the past two months now. When I do they bounce me around between 3 different people in which I speak to for 20-40 minutes a piece! In doing so they are trying to keep me from canceling my service with them, by trying to convince me that they are doing something about the problem. I would not recommend anybody wasting their time, money, or stress dealing with the Local Lighthouse PARC!

Also, they said they would wave the monthly fee for the last 2 months while the changes were made. They still charged my bank account anyways, causing an OD Fee due to not having funds in my account to cover charges that were promised not to occur!

The charge was refunded on both occasions after more hours of wasted time on the phone with Local Lighthouse and my bank, as frustration just continued to mount!
