I ordered a face cream for £2.99 p&p free trial via Facebook. I got my cream, and all seemed fine. On 30/12/14 they took about £75 from my bank account and I got an email from them, so I phoned my bank, who were very helpful and told me they would issue a refund request on my behalf. They also will not be issuing any more payments to this company, which comes under muscle&fitness and I am told are based in Watford. The bank also gave me this phone number 08779156583, which was off the hook. After contacting the initial number from the email, which was 0-808-189-1023 and spoke to the same woman. After telling her that the 14 day period would not be over until close of business today, I was entitled to cancel my membership with them and request a full refund. After her 'conveniently' losing connection with me on the phone, I got 2 emails, one to say my membership was cancelled and one to say they would refund my money. I just hope they hold to this, as I now have an audit trail. I urge anyone who has been involved in this scam to first contact their bank, then keep trying to speak to the company - you can get through!
