I, too, have been suckered by the "free" "Promote a song" campaign, which - if the customer does not take explicit action at the end of the one-week "free" period - results in weekly charges of $35 being billed to the customer's credit card. The "unsubscribe" notice is cleverly and deviously hidden in the weeds on Reverbnation's site, and their objective is clearly to mislead customers into "signing up" for continuing charges that were not anticipated by the customer. This is one of the oldest and most insidious scams on the Internet. When I complained directly to Reverbnation, they 'generously' offered to reimburse the last charge of $35. This is consumer fraud at its most egregious.
