US GOVERNMENT FEDERAL GRANT DEPARTMENT

On 08/07/2011 I was contacted by a person who says his name was Steven Johns from the U.S. gov. grant department and that I qualified to recieve a 7,000 grant. Everything seemed like it was the real deal right down to the fact that I could only use the money to pay off bill or school. I was told to call Sophia Lopez the authorizing manager of his department at 1-202-558-4595 witch I did gave her he conf.# and then she tells me there is a one time fee to process of 130.00 witch had to be sent western union to a charity organization in India because the grant program does not accept a fee for grants. I was also told not to tell anyone about the grant because anyone could use my confirmation # to recieve the funds.Stupid me cause im a single mother down on her luck having to pay my sons college tuition went with it. After that was done she then told me I would be contacted by the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. On 08/08/2011 aroumd 10:30 in the am Nancy Smith contacted me to confirm my information and that I would recieve my money within 5 to 10 minutes. Only the catch was they needed another 389.00 to transfer the funds! When I told her I thought she was gonna say that and that I cancelled my debit card and contacted the Federal Trade Commission, and the FBI she then came back with the remark if we wanted to we could of already taken your money and hung up on me. Now when we call the numbers they go right into voicemail. I found the # to the Federal Reserve Bank of NY and reported that someone was using there bank name for scams and gave them all the info I had. I also contacted Washington DC gov. grant department and gave them the info. Thank god it was only 130.00 but I know theres other people out there in need just like me and they are probably being taken for alot more. I don't want this to happen to anyone else I hope the goverment gets a handle on these thieves soon because there ruin peoples lives....
