No money lost here. Just a heads up that this person/s, whoever they are, seem to be back in action. In response to an add on Gumtree I have posted selling my dirt-bike.
A quick Google search and they appear to have possibly stolen this persons identity in 2009 (Latham Cathy) he/she is Canadian, and the scammers appear to be working out of China or Korea.

The email I received read much like the Denis Marcus scam emails. As follows:

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for the mail.i am ready to purchase this motorbike as soon as possible.
I am purchasing it on behalf of my husband.
Please do advise with your last price.
I have a pick up agent that will come and pick it up after i have made the payment.
I'd like to know certain things too...

Are you the first owner of it?
What is your reason for selling it?
I'm sorry, just want to be sure about the sale before i proceed.

I will be very glad to conclude this as soon as possible.

Obviously I didn't respond and am aware people are becoming increasingly aware of these types of scam emails, but thought I should report it all the same.
