Most obnoxious "business" ever. When my daughter was married, they purchased a car via CitiBank. She divorced him, and as part of the decree, it clearly states that HE and only he is responsible for "any debt or lien" ON THE AUTOMOBILE IN QUESTION, and that SHE and she alone are clear and free from any such debts or liens. The court ordered him to immedietly refinance and remove her from the original lien and then report the move back to my daughter when he got it done. She never heard from him again. Now, after hopscotching across the country avoiding collection agencies, he has moved overseas. Now Oxford Law is trying to collect from my daughter. She explained the Court order, but they told her that didn't matter, that she still has to pay now. Are they above the law and do they just make this up as they go along? Are they allowed to override the Courts? They had plenty of time to locate him while he was in the states. I can't help it they are lousy investigators. Not my fault. My daughter doesn't live here, but Oxford Law continues to ONLY call my own phone number and mail to my address. I am tired of hearing the phone ring from them. I am going to write to the BBB as well as the AG of Ohio. A Cease and Desist letter will be coming their way. Leave me alone!!! Harrassment is against the law. Not my debt (nor my daughter's) so leave me alone. With all of the posted complaints over the internet, it's a wonder this place can continue to operate. Scum of the earth.
