The number I called is very similar to Melia.com's phone number, which is 877-696-6252, which is by design and by intent, so that they get a lot of phone call traffic. The number I called, because I'm dyslexic, was 877-969-6252 (a "Rewards Hotline"). See the difference? When you call, they offer you a free $100 gift card that they say can be used at 300,000 location, including Wal-mart, Target, etc. They are very well trained. They got all of my information.. Name.. Phone Number.. eMail.. Date of Birth, CC#, Expiration, Security Code.. to "just pay for shipping the cards", which the IDR phone system says is $2.95. When they talk to you, they say it's $5.95. At this time, they then lay what they are about to do on you.. after 15 days, will charge you $24.87 / month to continue using the special "discounts". At this time, I mention I am not interested and repeat 2x... "You DO NOT have authorization to use my card" ...hello? ....hello? ...Sir, are you there? ...hello? ...hello? ...put on hold... someone else picks up... hello? ...hello? I IMMEDIATELY call my bank and the secret service for fraud. I cancelled my card within minutes of the phone call. My bank told me a company called "Saveclub" charged my account, it was pending, and I would have to dispute the charge the next day. I talked to Alex - Senior Supervisor. Curtis Lench, ID 5117... all of this stuff is just bogus. If you call their customer service number, it's a joke. If you wish to cancel... you don't actually talk to someone. It just tells you, based on your number, your "membership" has been cancelled. I called back. I asked for a Supervisor. They immediately tell me they cannot transfer the call to their boss. If you go to the funvantage.com website, try looking at the "contact us" page... it triggers a modal with a form. No number. These people need to be taken to the cleaners. I called them a third time. This time, I did not give them my name. I just asked for a supervisor. The SAME exact guy, recognizes my voice, then tries to tell me his name is Jason. Alex. Jason... with thick Indian accents?? Yeah. Right. These guys are scam artists... very well organized and executed. They are stealing identities, act fraudulently, and will do whatever they can to get all your information. I was dooped! I thought it was the Rewards benefit for my "Melia Hotel Rewards Membership". These guys are playing off of the rewards industry, making numbers that are in likeness to Hotels that offer rewards programs, then feeding on those people with fictitious rewards...
