All I wanted was to activate Explorer, which I was unable to do. I was told that my computer was wrought with "infections & virus". Not knowing, I believed them since I am a novice in computers. They took advantage of me and convinced me that a $299.99 would fix everything. Later during this interaction I was told that $160.00 would keep me with tech support for a year. I paid $49.00 up front with remainder to be paid in monthly increments. Numerous times I told them I did not want to continue and that I can seek local help at which time I was told the repair would cost as much if I got local help. I was on phone and computer with them for 5 HOURS!!! All the time I was told they were working on the problem and would be corrected in a short time. Nothing has changed with my computer performance.
