The site pops up during a green card renewal search and looks like a govt website and doesn't tell me anything about additional application fee. As I clicked on the link to renew green card, I was prompted to create an account to start my application which makes sense. It asked for my personal information and a credit card for the application fee which I obliged. I was then redirected to the real government website to fill out the application. I started to get suspicious when the real govt website asked me for credit card for fees but by then it was too late.
