Several years ago, my friends and I stayed here. We really enjoyed our stay and I posted a review about it on Trip Advisor. At the time of the review, I said my biggest complaint was the food. I also mentioned that the "agua con gas" was purified. Yes, the food was terrible, but I'm pretty sure the agua con gas was not purified. At the time I had written the review, I mentioned that nobody from my group had gotten sick. I stand corrected. 5 days after our return, my sister complained of terrible stomach pains. Hours later she was in the emergency room with appendicitis. The doctors said it was likely caused by food poisoning wearing down the walls of her intestines. I'm not writing this to scare you from going, but read this as a cautionary tale before you travel anywhere...be careful with the food and the water.
