We left our things in the room and took off for the day. When we returned Sunday around dinner time, we found that my wife's make-up bag and jewelry kit were missing. We told the manager, who came out near the room and checked the maid's cart for the items. Fortunately, she found them in the cleaning cart in the maid's cleaning room. She said maybe the maid didn't get the word that we were staying.
