I engaged Ron Caedo for a remodel of my residence, through his company Red Sea Industrial Wood Working & Iron Works. I paid him a total of $6000 (PHP263,500) for the project. He went to work with his crew after I put half down, and requested additional funds as they were needed. With just one day's work left to do, Mr. Caedo abandoned the project, leave both unfinished and shoddy work behind. He had already received all the funds and promised to return "soon." He even requested an additional 3,500 pesos to replace an interior door, which I paid. Not only did he steal that money and not replace the door, he never returned with his crew to finish up the job properly. Initially when I asked him to return, he said he would do so when his crew finished up a big job they were needed for. Then after disappearing for a few months, when I was able to get a hold of him again, he said all the work left was "little stuff" and that he had no time to do it. He still did not return the extra money I paid him for the door. In response to my complaint about the shoddy work, he said "You approved it at the time," which is not true. I highly recommend against hiring him or his company.
