Was phoned by this Mr Fred Davies, after I have shown interest in immigrating to Canada and filling in just basic info about myself without any obligation but also none of the information about company or their work did I get or have website to read it from.
After few questions, his main aim was to get my credit card details OVER THE PHONE (?!) in order to withdraw the USD 700, when I said to him that I do not want to give my personal and bank account details over phone, tried to convince me that it is safe. And then he said he can give me link through mail, and I can pay online, but still had to do it while on the phone talking to him. !?
Then I kept my head clear and said I havent got that amount available. He said will I be able to pay tomorrow, I said yes. And goodbye. Did not pay a cent. Sent them mail that I dont have money. To pay 700$ for what??!
Explanation was: I must give them my credit card details in order for them to start the process even if the transaction is not approved.
Luckly for me I kept my head and did not give him any information and did not pay. I believe this is scam. I cannot prove it but sure wouldnt give them any money for nothing!
