I just opened up a new business not too long ago and began using square up credit card services for my customers to pay. Transactions went fine until last week when I checked my square account that I needed to verify it. So I sent in all required info then shortly after I get an email stating my account was deactivated, and the funds that were pending they are now holding for 90 days. They do not have a live person, only email communication. I am a new small business and this decision of theirs is hurting my business. I should have done my homework prior to utilizing their services, but unfortunately I did not know and now as I look online I have come across literally hundred and hundred of complaints identical to mine. This can't be legal. Some complainers have mentioned a class action lawsuit and I believe this needs to be done.
