I have booked a flight with Cheapoair two months ago. The airline was Lufthansa and the flight had four connection. The first connection was operated by United. As ALWAYS the United flight was delayed from Des Moines to Chicago! We had 3 more connections after that flight, and we lost them all and we couldn't make it home for summer.
United people in the airport were extremely rude and unhelpful, even the supervisor. The Customer service doesn't reply to our inquiries, the Lufthansa didnt have any representative in the airport and when we called them they said this is Cheapoir responsibility to find us a new flight.
We have stayed in the airport for 6,7 hours, with too much luggage and tickets that we have bought two months ago. I have called many people in the airlines and Cheapoir and have been on hold forever. One supervisor in Cheapoir promised me to find a flight for us soon. But still no news. When I ask them when is soon? they have no idea.
To make long story short, don't use Cheapoir. You can pay cash for your tickets from months ago but then you would lose it all and no one even feel responsible to find you another flight.
Their ironic reply is "You are eligible for full refund!". I cannot get any flight for today and tomorrow with that refund.
I'm planning to sue this fake company.

  • Melika, as a travel agency we are bound by the rules of the airline. There are restrictions that we follow when it comes to airline have changes in their operations. You have to fly on the same airline, and if there were no seats available with LH or UA the only option they give is to either sign your ticket over to another airline, which is done at the airport by the airline, or they will offer a refund. I am very sorry that someone didn't get back to you, however, provide us with the 8 digit booking number, and we will certainly research this, and see what options there are. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
