I feel so stupid... I can't believe that I let a person who know NOTHING about computer to fix my laptop. This is the BIGGEST SCAM I HAVE EVER SEEN! DO NOT PAY THEM AT ALL COST! Let me tell you a story. At first, my email address doesn't work because Microsoft sent me an email to verify my identity but I'm on vacation at USA, thus I can't use my phone number, and I didn't use another email anymore.. So I can't identify my email. But I didn't notice this email so, at first I don't know why my email is blocked. And then I search google to find a way to fix it. I found Omni-tech. After I talk with them like 1-2 hours. They told me that my laptop was hacked. And, my god, I believed it. They told me to pay 249.99$ for the fix and I can receive an insurance for 6 months and guarantee something I didn't care. My conversation with hem are like this,
Me: It's too expensive to pay 250$ for just verify my email!
Them: It's not just verify you email. It has many virus and hackers in your computer. If you can verify it, it would be hacked again.
(At that time, I believe them because I don't know that microsoft sent me a verification and I thought Omni-Tech was microsoft's minor company.)
Me: I just want to verify my email! I do not care about hackers.
Them: Let me talk to my supervisor if they have another discount.
Them: Here'e the new price 129.99$, you can save 120$. And I guarantee your computer will be fine and you can use your email again.
Me: But I don't want to pay for that I just want to verify my email.
Them: You can't just verify your email. Because there has a lot of hackers in your computer.
(Which I really CAN verify, because there has no hackers in my computer. It was blocked just because I can't verify my identity.)
Me: I can't pay for that! I understand you but I just want to verify and then format my computer!
Them: You must let us fix it first and then you can verify your email. Ok, I will reduced a price to 79.99$. This is student price.
Me: Ok, I will do it....

And guess what, after they done something which is all FAKE. (like, scanning for virus, trojun, malware or something) Instead of they can fix me an email. "They just email to microsoft that I can't verify my email address.. please help me." WHAT!? JUST THIS FOR 79.99$????? I even can do it by myself!!! And now it haven't been fixed yet!

SO DO NOT EVER EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL PRICES. THEY ARE SCAMS, CHEATERS AND THIEF. THEY CAN'T FIX ANYTHING. THIS IS THE FAKE COMPANY. HOW CAN THIS COMPANY LIVE ON UNITED STATES!!!

  • Generally, our technician runs a free diagnosis to get to the root cause of any issue, including a balky email account, using a respected third-party diagnosis tool on the customer’s computer to uncover the root of the problem as the initial troubleshooting step. We might have checked the customer’s computer and it showed some system errors, broken registry entries and polymorphic viruses and that scan result was conveyed to the customer. We cannot and would not create a fake scan result. We access the customer’s computer using a well-known and trusted remote 3rd-party access tool called “LogMeIn”. Our process is very transparent.

We do not do any unethical practices or scam the people. We provide quality, affordable technical support. We are always here to assist people who truly need our experienced technician’s help regarding their any software related-issues at any time, 24/7. We have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, which tells about our success story and trustworthy service at any point of time.
