I bought my first computer around that time and picked up some viruses downloading music files. I took a friends suggestion and went through them to remove the bugs and have been harassed by them since then by telephone. I gave them control of the computer to do the service (not knowing better) and they call constantly telling me I still have viruses. How can they know this? I sold the computer and reported them to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. I also put them on the no call list, but as of today they still call. I cannot change my phone number because of a family situation.

  • First and foremost, the call this person received was certainly not from OmniTech Support. It was a scam call. It was not us. We simply don’t call people and tell them to update anything in their computer.

In this instance, the complainer hasn’t revealed any details with which we can use to determine if this person is actually our customer in the first place, or is a competitor trying to cast doubt on us. We invite this person to provide some actual details like, date of supposedly contacting us, the customer ID he/she was given, or his/her email address, so that we can investigate further into this particular case and resolve it, if it is real. On this alleged situation we are unable to comment on anything.
