After depositing a check that should have left me with money in my account i discovered i was over drawn. When i checked my account online this charge appeared. I new i had only made one online purchase recently and that was taken care of so i have tried to call the number my account statement had available but so far have only been able to leave voice mails. I have traced it back to a magazine subscription offered by newsmax.com an economic advisory scam.

These guys got me too. I tried to call the number that Newsmax is listing above. No answer.

- I just got in touch with the Customer Service line, using the main number (561-686-1165), telling the switchboard operator that my card is being charged and I do not know why. The service rep explained the automatic opt in, that my card is charged unless I tell them to cancel. I expressed dissatisfaction. The rep, Ashley, as very pleasant and said my money will be refunded in 3-5 business days. It's not an optimal way to do business, creates too much bad feeling. But the company's way of doing business is to set the consumer up for auto-opt-in and then deal with complaints. It's inefficient and unwise. The only good thing I have to say about it is that the rep was pleasant. I'd hate to have her job.
