My friend (Jack Hinterthuer) emailed me that he was in Cyprus and had lost his bank card. He asked me if I would send him $3000.00 or whatever I could. He then emailed me the address of: 18 St Michael St., City of Nicosia, South Cyprus. That when I sent it by Western Union that he would need the MTCN reference number (which is 943-381-8100) and how much it would be in Euros (which was: 2173 Euros). I emailed him this information per my Iphone. The money was sent from US Bank at 8:31am I called Western Union and found out that he picked up the money at 1:30pm.
Jack Hinterthuer's email address was hacked and in fact he is at home at his address...I have been out of town and/or tied up with company and had no idea until today that he was in fact at home and NOT Cyprus.
I have copied all correspondence with this scammer and copy of the Western Union copies should they be needed.
