I was walking through the mall when this really fancy looking store with a gold colored face mask drew my attention. The box for the mask says it contains 24k gold and that caught my attention because I know that gold is not beneficial to the body in any way at all. The sales woman asked me to go in and check out their products and that I did. She rubbed stuff on my face talked me like we are best of friends. I asked her if the cosmetics were expensive and she told me not at all. (which was a really bad lie) The total amount of money I ended up spending totaled up to a whopping of $1178.18!!! She made me feel bad buying the products because she gave me a lot of "free" products by paying for it out of her own store credit and told me not to tell other people of the special price I got. Supposedly it was because she wanted to be friends and I know a wide range of people that I can introduce her product to. So… I paid for almost everything she suggested to me because I felt bad for her spending her own credits and money on me. When I got back and took out the receipt, I noticed on the receipt that it says All sales final! No returns! That's really suspicious for something that is priced so extravagantly!!! I've never ever heard of something so expensive being a Final Sale. The saleswoman had not once mentioned this to me! Realizing this might be one of those scams, I looked up the reviews online about this company and fair enough, the same things the lady said to me and the failure to mention the no returns was the same to every other person who purchased products from this company. Also, did I mention how the manager was VERY rude to me and my friend? The saleswoman grabbed my purchase (three bags full) and started walking towards the front door of the shop and told the manager that she's helping me take my purchase to my car. I have not once asked her to do that! The manager rebutted with, "Why? Are they not men? Is something wrong with their hands? Is something wrong with their hands? They can carry their own stuff themselves. Give it back to them and let them carry it!" I was absolutely embarrassed and humiliated. I didn't even know what the saleswoman was doing with my bags till she walked up to the manager and told her what she was doing. This is just absolutely ridiculous! They also lie about the gold. They say it's good for you and asian people drink it because it has health benefits because it has minerals and the gold does some deep skin tissue something. The last time I checked, Gold does not get absorbed by the body and gold is only thought to have health benefits by shamanic practitioners and people back in the medieval age. Gold is not able to be absorbed by the body and if it is absorbed by the body, gold is actually very harmful to your health and cause some serious harm. They even have some sort of doctor that they say approves and verified that gold is beneficial to your skin health. It's a load of bullshit!
