Agreed to free trial on my work's rota site and paid for postage and packaging. Received an email saying free pack would be sent and then a charge suddenly appeared on my bank account. On investigation appears that underneath all the displayed Free Trial there is small print stating that you are actually signing up to a monthly fee. Have not even got the trial pack. This is obviously a huge scam by a company. The person I spoke to cancelled my contract before even confirming when we were cut off so obviously is used to the complaints. However, when I wanted to talk about UK law and refunds he 'couldn't hear me' and advised me to callback later when the phones were working better? I intend to report them if not given a refund.

Update: 04/09/2014

the money lost was 87 pounds which is actually $145 not $87

Update: 04/09/2014

Note the threat about charge backs but complete lack of any information suggesting they are charging you any money in the Thank you email.
