I ordered perfume on 9 March 2014 and received an email to say that they had received my payment and that my order has been processed.

Coco Mademoiselle By Chanel for Women 100ml = AUD$115.41 (plus postage $4.58) – I should have realised at this price that it was all a scam to begin with!! (50mls at an Australian Department store retails at AUD$160) and I had just purchased 100mls for less.

On 24 March 2014 I emailed to say that my order was yet to arrive. A woman called Moira Smith responded overnight saying that all orders arrive in 18 business days.

I finally received my order on 1 April 2014 (from Slovakia). I emailed immediately saying that I was more than disappointed with my purchase.

The product they displayed on their website is genuine Chanel but the product I have received IS NOT. The fake plastic lid is what first alerted me, but after spraying it on, even more discerning is that it smells nothing like the genuine Coco Mademoiselle.

I asked to receive a FULL refund, including the postage. I stated that their Return policy says that “We guarantee your satisfaction, or your money back”.

A person called Harvey Rose responded back overnight asking me why I thought the product was not genuine. I had to say again the reasons why. Harvey Rose responded again saying that I needed to complete a Formal Complaint Procedure Declaration and return it via email. I was then told to return the product to DIDC2 - Bay B, Dirft South - Celtic Way, Daventry, NN6 7GW at my own expense.

Once I had supplied them with a post office receipt or the tracking number they would refund the money to my account that it had come out of.

What struck me as odd was that they said they were going to organise the refund simply from the dispatch receipt, not even going to wait until the returned product had arrived.

I started doing some digging around online and found this complaints website, and my heart sunk…it is all a scam. I’m not going to waste any more money by going through with the return.

Be warned - Life-style-shop is a massive scam!!
