In 2010 I received a phone call from a represenitve from subscribers services saying for being a visa card holder I was eligible for a woman's or males watch for free as long as I order magazines which you can switch anytime and you get the magazines for 2 years, just pay $74.00 a month, at the time I was busy n in a hurry I asked if I could cancel and she said yes so I agreed so then she transferred me to another guy who just had to verify That I wanted the magazines so again I said yes and gave my information away, besides I figured I would cancel the next month come to find out when I called to cancel the represenitve gave me straight to the guy I talked with the first time and said I can't cancel it was a locked in membership for a total cost of $800 n I could pay for it all at once if I like, at this time I got upset and said they didn't tell me that and he insisted he had a tape with me agreeing and even yelled at me saying its my fault for not paying attention so I asked to hear the tape and he refused to let me listen and even hung up on me. I refused to pay until I started receiving letters from an attorney stating I was gonna be takin to court so I called and made a payment to settle for $600 and they said they would send me a document stating I payed and the following day another bill collector called trying to collect for the remaining balance of course I haven't payed and it has been 9 months and I still have not received my document stating I payed. They need to be stopped I searched the Internet and there are a lot of people that had the same exact thing happen to them.
