I was driving in a plaza with my BMW x5. I saw two guys in a pick up truck kept staring at my car. When I parked, they came to me and was telling me that they are opening their own Auto shop, they saw my front bumper damage and want to take some good pictures of before and after. I had some serious dent and scratches on both side front bumper. And then they offered me $650 for that, I lowered it to $500. The second guy came to me and said, oh you have some crub scratches on the rim too, I can do that for $150, and then I lowered to $80. Total came up to $580. They said they could do it in an underground parking lot since there are power outlet. OK, I trusted them and let them do it since I always wanted to fix my car with a decent price. I had a thought that it is weird because they said they have the right color and materials on hand to fix. At the end, they fixed it, seems good, but it is an underground parking lot I could not see how well it was, and he "claimed" that the filling wasnt dry yet so I could not touch it. Well, now I see the color is dull, like cheap paint and stuff. Although, they literally fixed it, it feels like a scam and I read other people's post here saying the same thing too. Don't trust them. They wear blue workshirt from Tony's Auto name tag "Jonny" and I forgot the name of the other guy. I saw them driving a Red pick up truck with no license plate.
