I called Omnitech because of a wireless printer question I had. They gave me the line that there were many problems with my computer and they could speed it up, too. Because I needed to scan and print something immediately, I agreed to their service for a fee of $249.99. I should have refused their service until I had a chance to check them out. Unfortunately I didn't. After they accessed my computer I was watching what they were doing and all of the places they were going and how quickly they were moving from one place to another. I felt very uneasy about opening up my computer to them. They also set it up to do a daily backup which I do not remember discussing with them. After reading further about them and all of the complaints, I am very uneasy about what they are doing with my files on their backup and that is the reason I'm reluctant to give my name.

  • This person says he had an issue which is why he allegedly contacted us. We are fee-based organization and all the services & fees are clearly described on our website. Online tech support services have as their core the fixing the computer issue remotely and a 24/7 availability of the service. Rather than lugging your equipment to a local tech service, online support techs can remotely access your computer through your Internet connection or render help via email, online chat and telephone. OmniTech Support is one of the best online technical support companies in the world. We fix the customer’s issues using standard and well respected 3rd party remote-access tool. It is a very transparent process where customer will have full control over the remote access and can monitor every step performed by the technician. Always, the customer can terminate the remote access at any point of time.

In term of fixing any issue, our technicians only access system files and drivers which are required. They do not access other non-system files. Daily back up of customer’s files is a routine based service, exclusively provided by Cloud Storage Software that is included in the customer’s subscription plan. As we record every word, every keystroke, we can at any time demonstrate that we explain the remote backup service. After installing Cloud Storage, OmniTech does not have any access or influence over the backed-up data or files as they are password-protected by the customer. If you select “Automatic Daily back-up” option then, Cloud Storage Software will back up the files daily. We have no control over it. This alleged customer certainly misunderstood the process or was not a customer in the first place.

As always, we are here to assist people who truly need our experienced technician’s help regarding their any software related-issues at any time, day or night.
