I lost the address book from my Hotmail account. I contacted Microsoft and they transferred me to OmniTech Support. I thought they were part of Microsoft. Was in an online chat for 6 hours after which they charged me $199.99 for 6 months of free service and they finally found my address book. In the meantime, they completely screwed up my Chrome browser by installing a supposed antivirus program which slowed down everything so that I could not open my bookmarked pages for at least 3-5 minutes. They insisted on reinstalling Explorer 8 even after I told them I do not use it at all. Now I have to have my IT tech person redo everything.

  • Microsoft never redirects their customers to OmniTech Support or any other third-party tech support organization and we are not related to Microsoft. Some people may use a search engine to find Microsoft Office Support and they will find links to large tech-support organizations like us. We are often one of the first few listings. But, because we are trained and certified to work on Microsoft products, does not make us Microsoft any more than a local auto-repair shop, that has Ford-certified mechanics that repair Ford cars and trucks, as being Ford Motor Company! We invite this person to provide more detail, such as his/her customer ID, email address and on what date he/she allegedly contacted in to us for help, so that we can retrieve any recordings or chats and investigate the alleged issue and offer a possible resolution.

We always request our customers to get back to us after an initial resolution/contact, because some issues might reoccur. Because we offer half-yearly and yearly unlimited service plans, we fix every issue that they come back to us within the duration of their service plan. Always, we try to resolve their issues at their ultimate satisfaction. In any case, if the customer is not fully satisfied with the resolution, we offer alternative possible fixes. There is no way; we ever do anything without getting the customer’s explicit consent.

We provide cost-effective support to thousands of satisfied customers every day and swiftly address any problems or misunderstandings a customer might have. That's why we have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
