HI all!!!!

I can't believe I've been scammed!!! On the 15th of October I purchased one bottle of each as it was advertised that the product was free but I only had to pay for the delivery of £3.23 for each bottle. The payment was taken out of my account 3 days later and it took 2weeks to receive the package.
Today I had a horrible surprise when I checked my bank statement only to discover 2 charges of £57.65 (184.34$) taken out of my account!!!
Thankfully there was a phone number on the confirmation email I had received from them the day of the purchase so I called them.
The lady who answered explained that it was written on the terms and conditions that I subscribed to the service and therefore would have to pay the enormous monthly membership fee. I had to loose patience and order her to refund me the 2x £57.65 as I didn't receive any email warning me of the charge. After 10 minutes over the phone trying to make her understand the difference between GBP British currency and US American Dollars, and after she explained to me that to cancel I had to pay an extra 25$odd which is about £15.67 and after I had to make all the calculations for her (since she was incapable of counting herself) we had come to the conclusion that I would be refunded £57.65x2 - £15.67. Be aware that if you get through someone over the phone, they will try to confuse you by saying that you have to return the purchased bottles. In my case, because I was furious and knew exactly what was going on, I told the lady that the bottles had nothing to do with the £57.65 as they were free and I had paid for the delivery. Also, I asked to speak to the manager or supervisor and she responded that they weren't available.

  • Hi all,

    I just wanted to say that I've been refunded the £57.65 x2 (even though it was £54odd because of the currency exchange). They charged me for the cancellation £16 something for each account but at least I got some of the money back. I had to contact them a second time by phone and send reminders by email that I was still waiting for the money and that I would take further actions if I didn't see my money back in my account. So don't hesitate to do the same!
