Like many of the other stories: I was at the mall, feeling tired, frustrated after a computer store visit, dressed down. They dressed me down even further. They are experts at the hard sell, how old you look (even though I am not that old). I kept trying to get out of there, and they were relentless. I am not sure what part (if any) of what they told me was true: "all natural" "you can bring back anything you don't like" "I'm giving it to you at so low a price" "I do makeup for all these celebs" "I'll only charge you $300 more for the other items" (He charged me $450 more.) I got out of there FINALLY and then was immediately disgusted with what I had done. Warning signs: they don't take American Express (which has a very good customer protection program; the "no refund" sign was conveniently not visible and where printed on the receipt was minuscule--like 3 point type; they had no business cards, and the sales people don't tell you their last name or the name of the business. I went back the next day to return the products, was told "no refunds (see our sign?)", they did not know my salesperson's last name (he's the manager, they told me but didn't know their manager's name?). The "manager" then needed to contact the owner to get approval to refund. I had called the Attorney General's office and plan to file a complaint there, with the FTC, mall management, and my credit card company. Do the same. Never give up, never surrender.
