I was destitute after a total loss from a devasting house fire in the rental property where I lived. I had heard of pensions sales and loans. Most companies declined me but this PAS LLC was all gung ho and ready and willing, offering me $25,000 against my monthly pension. After completing hundreds of forms repeated over and over and struggling to understand the now strictly foreign contacts I was becoming more and more uncomfortable and suspicious. I could not find any legal filings nor BBB complaints at that time though. After this was supposed to be finalized, they suddenly said I could only have 12,000 as a non secured loan since my pension is not transferable. They immediately deposited that check, then tripled the amount I was to repay monthly from the newly decided $410.80 to almost $1200.00. I immediately tried to call them but got only unintelligible voice mails or overseas static. I stopped payments, changed bank accounts, restricted them from the previous account and sent several emails that they would now have to deal with my U.S. attorney. No responses at all. Recently got a collection notice from a Paul Young. Cannot identify him from any legal reference guide. Also just received a 1099 form that looks like it was made on a home computer as the fonts are erratic and also can't identify the firm plus the monetary amount claimed is 11,900. Bottom line-fraud and scam and I was the scapegoat. Found the website Investor Alert-Pension or Fraud. Yes, I did use the money to get out of medical debt and buy a chair and a bed since I had no furniture at all from the fire. Only too late did I realize the scam and they refused to give me direction for returing any unused funds. I want to help stop this company.
