This company uses malicious software to run a scan on your computer to detect a large number of infected files. The idea is that after you see the amount of infections on your computer you will fork over $200 to have them removed. I originally called to get tech support over a settings problem because I am still to windows 8. I am now experiencing far more issues after the technician took control of my computer. Thank God I can still return my computer to the seller. Lesson learned, ratings from the BBB do not mean anything. This company tried to scam me and apparently I am not the first.

  • This person obviously has had some computer issue which is why he/she contacted us. Our technician might have checked his/her computer after he/she granted us onetime remote access. Generally, our technician runs a PC Health Checkup Scan to uncover the root of the problem as the initial troubleshooting step. PC Health Checkup is a respected 3rd-party diagnostic tool. We cannot manipulate the findings. The scan result can reveal corrupt registry entries and several other system errors and problems. Our technician might have conveyed the same to the customer. We cannot create the diagnosis. We do not scam anyone. We record every keystroke of our customer interactions.

These allegations are posted anonymously, so, obviously, we are not in a position to offer any comments as to what actually, if anything transpired. We invite this person to provide some more details like, date of contacting us, the customer ID he/she was given, so that we can investigate further into this particular case.

We, at OmniTech Support have thousands of customers who are in long time relationship with us and they are happy with our reliable support.
