I ordered a lane Furniture recliner in leather from them. The website has 3 icons on it that say "Ships White Glove", "Free Shipping" and "In Stock". If you click on "Ships White Glove", a little window comes up explaining how 2 men will bring the chair in your home, unbox it and assemble it. It also explains your responsibility to be there at delivery time and to inspect it for damage. There is no mention that this white glove shipping costs $150 extra. If you click on "Free Shipping", it dclares how, unlike competitors, they have no hidden fees and the shipping is really free. If you click on "In Stock", nothing happens, but another place on the page says it ships in 7-10 days. ALL of this is NOT TRUE! It doesn't ship white glove for free. The free shipping is it gets plunked down at the curb! It is NOT in stock. It has to be made by the manufacturer after you order it. And it does not ship in 7-10 days. It takes WEEKS!

They will negotiate on price, so I negotiated and ordered it over the phone. I was told that shiping might take 2 weeks because of the winter weather. She got my first name wrong (Don instead of John) and she got my email address wrong so I did not get an email confirmation of the order. I called a week later to ask why and they corrected the email address and sent me the confirmation. When I examined the order, I saw that it said curbside delivery. Surprize! I contacted them 2 times to correct that and was assured it would be changed. Once I understood the truth concerning shipping options and costs, I offered to pay $50 for "to the door" shipping. But it never was corrected and I was never charged the extra $50. So I contacted a CS manager to get some action, but she said it was too late to change the shipping, even though it was still in production at the plant. I called the shipping company and they said that shipping method could still be changed as far as they were concerned. So I called back and told the CS manager what they said. She contacted the logistics manager and he said 'NO", if I wanted it changed it would cost me $150! This was their fault because of misrepresentations on the website and by phone, yet they wanted to stick it to me! I argued that they could not legally present lies and misrepresentations on their website and then try to penalize me like this. We went around and around about this and the CS manager finally relented and said they would get it shipped to my door.

I waited another 2 or 3 weeks until delivery day. When it arrived, the good old boy driver brought it to my door. He even tried to bring it inside, but the box was too wide for the door. I said that was fine, that my brother and I could handle it from there. I opened the box and guess what? The chair was upholstered in fabric instead of the leather that I ordered! I don't know if this was the manufacturer's fault or a miscommunication by Olejostores.com, though I would bet on the latter. I refused the delivery and contacted Olejostores.com about the problem. They said they would contact Lane Furniture and get it straightened out. Over a week later, I hadn't heard anything. So I called once again to inquire on the status. They said that their Lane Furniture representative had been told of the issue, but he had not replied on repeated attempts to communicate. So they contacted someone higher up at Lane Furniture and got the ball rolling. But they said Lane Furniture's current turnaround on manufacturing was about 3 weeks. Surely, if this was Lane's mistake, they would have put it ahead of existing orders for faster turnaround. But this was apparently Olejostores.com's mistake, so they just took it on the end of the list of new orders.

So, almost 2 months after placing my order, I am STILL WAITING for fulfillment!

I have had to contact them again and again for status updates because I hear nothing from them otherwise.

My order online currently shows a status of “Delivered”.

I am about ready to call a lawyer!
