Responded to a craigslist ad as a part-time recruiter posting ad, responding to people, etc... I was responded to right away and set up for an interview via conference call in... The phone was muted, was allowed to ask any questions (unlike an interview which would expect you had some questions)... was told on the call that I didn't have to purchase legalsheild but 80% of people replying to me would ask if I had it therefore I wouldn't get any leads if I didn't and he would question my interest and fit for the company (blah, blah)... the I had to reply to my contact letting them know specifically that I made the call, was will to do a 1099, was interested in joining and that legalsheild was offered and I either choose to enroll or decline... I replied as requested stating "I am interested in joining but wasn't able to ask questions on the call and I did have a couple" and I was offered the legalsheild but would need to have a couple questions answered before I could make a decision. I haven't heard back from them and don't expect to.
