A couple weeks ago, I like so many others, responded to an internet ad by EQUINOX SKIN CARE (equinoxskincare.com). I got the two bottles at a shipping and handling price to "try" and return if I didn't like it. Yeah, I thought the trial (my fault) was 30 days and not 14 days until I got to my bank account and they charged me $93.00 for one and $99.00 for the other. Well, of course, I wanted to faint, then fight so I chose the latter and called the company and a person who spoke very broken English told me that I should have read the agreement and that it was my fault that I didn't read it was a 14 day trial and so sad, too bad. Then he (Kevin Mendoza) said he would refund $40.00 for each. So now we are up to me getting $80.00 for nothing I have opened or used but am having to pay $120.92 ONLY after the bottles are returned, inspected and give them 5 business days for refund. So then I tell him (Kevin Mendoza) that I had called earlier and that the other customer service person said he would refund the money all but $20.00 each for re-stocking the product. Neither person could transfer me to a supervisor at this company equinoxskincare.com nor were any of the two people on the same page of what the company equinoxskincare.com actually will do for a customer that is being raped and pillaged to death by a company that makes their money off of what they can get away with giving an angry or distraught customer. So now I have talked the #2 customer service person into the refund all but the $20.00 restocking fee for each so that would give me $120.92 vs $80.00 vs -0-. This only after I return the bottles, each to a different state, call the company back with the tracking numbers and wait 5-10 business days for refund. I have to wait for them to refund my money. My god, they get at least $40.00 per customer, don't have to give out any product and for the customers that don't scream and yell like I do, some of them probably take the $40.00 each and call it a day and are out $120.00. This company EQUINOX SKIN CARE does not represent itself well after they get you in with their ad. It appears that they outsource (as most AMERICAN companies are doing these days) their customer service which is evident by the lack of English speaking representatives and the lack of wanting to run an ethical business. Let's hope this company is run out of this country on a rail never to return (yeah lots of luck with that). So AMERICA you just keep outsourcing your work and getting your products made, shipped and hire non-speaking English people in other countries to settle customer complaints and hopefully the voters and tax paying citizens of this country will stop voting in politicians that won't do anything about American companies outsourcing their products. They should be taxed so heavily to bring their products back into the United States after taking them abroad for cheap labor and products, that it wouldn't pay them to go overseas. Do you know how rich these companies are making themselves and us the "little guy" in America keeps buying their shit. Stop buying stuff that is made outside of AMERICA and when you find that people, banks, businesses, gas stations, retail stores, places you shop are actually outsourcing STOP BUYING FROM THEM.
